What is Chiropractic?
What is Chiropractic used for?
Chiropractic is a full healthcare system that focuses on using natural, hands-on care to restore, maintain, and optimize health. Chiropractic’s sole goal is to find and eliminate subluxations so that adequate nerve flow can be restored. Chiropractors can use adjustments to realign joints and increase the range of motion available to a person. Generally, treatments do not hurt, but you can feel sore after, similar to after a workout. However with time, the muscles will adjust and loosen up.
Chiropractic treats a variety of nervous system and musculoskeletal disorders. Low back pain, headaches, neck discomfort, muscle pains, and other body joints can all benefit from Chiropractic care. Chiropractors can make adjustments on almost any part of the body, including the head, jaws, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, pelvis, knees, and ankles. Chiropractic can also help with more than just bones, many help with soft tissue, cartilage, connective tissue, joints, and muscles.
